IT applications development and maintenance outsourcing

Leading telecommunications operator had decided to seek further efficiency, scalability and new IT skills by consolidating its enterprise business and support function applications to two selected outsourcing partners. Transition scope included all IT services from internal teams and third parties, transition of 100 people and 300 applications varying from simple tools to a large-scale SAP implementation.
Midagon’s role
Midagon acted as Project Manager setting up and leading through the transition projects (services, people, applications) to two selected partners, providing also support in earlier transition contract negotiations and contract finalization.
Benefits and successful implementation
Transition projects were successfully completed without any business interruptions. Telecom operator achieved set targets which were remarkable OPEX savings, scalability of development and maintenance services and access to a global skillset and innovation.
